Cleveland Cyclewerks Enters Nepal With Four Motorcycles

US-based Cleveland Cyclewerks has commenced operations in Nepal with the launch of four motorcycles.  The motorcycles will be sold via the company’s dealership in Panipokhari, Lazimpat. The American motorcycle manufacturer will offer three retro-inspired motorcycles and a dirt bike. The FXR 125 is the most affordable motorcycle in its portfolio and is priced at Rs 3,59,000. The retro-inspired Ace Deluxe is the second motorcycle in the range and is priced at Rs 4,99,000. Similarly, the Ace Scrambler is priced at Rs 5,19,000 and the Misfit will cost you Rs 5,67,000The Cleveland Ace Deluxe is a retro-styled motorcycle and is powered by a 229cc single cylinder engine. The air-cooled engine will deliver 15.4bhp of power and 16Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features a square-section single-downtube frame which has been suspended on USD forks and dual shocks. Other highlights include aluminum wheels, inverted forks, a slightly raised front fender, wide bars, dual surface tires, and a flat seat. The bike, however, misses out on the ABS feature.

The Cleveland Ace Scrambler is a scrambler version of the Ace Deluxe and shares the same mechanicals as the Ace Deluxe. Highlights include standard telescopic front suspension, dual shocks at the back, knobby tires on spoked rims and rubber pads on the fuel tank. This motorcycle, too, misses out on the ABS feature.

The Cleveland Misfit is a mild cafe racer which shares the mechanicals with the Ace Deluxe. The bike sits on a perimeter frame and employs USD suspension at the front and a five-step adjustable monoshock at the rear, steel rims with wire spokes and an analog cum digital meter. ABS is not available.

The FXR is a 125cc small, lightweight, street legal, dirt bike with 21/21″ front and rear wheels. The bike sports dual piston front and rear calipers, with stainless steel braided and bonded brake lines.  The front suspension boasts forged triple trees with inverted/non-adjustable shocks,  the rear shock is centrally mounted with an adjustable style, piggyback shock with additional pre-load adjustment.  The exhaust is tucked inside the frame.   Handlebars are aluminum tapered style.   The 123.7cc engine delivers 7 bhp at 8000 RPM and 6.9 Nm at 6000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
