The images of the production version of the Hyundai Venue has been leaked online. As we can see from the pictures, the Venue’s front fascia bears a strong resemblance to the Kona SUV, particularly the split-headlamp design. The side profile will be similar to that of the Creta while the rear will feature a new design. The Venue sports the same diamond-cut alloy wheels as the 2019 Creta. The turbo badge seen at the rear confirms the fact that the Venue will be offered in the turbocharged petrol engine.

Images of the interior reveal a generous layout with a free-standing touchscreen at the top of the center console between the centre air vents. The Venue will come equipped with best-in-segment connectivity features. Other noticeable features are the three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise control system, and a digital climate control display knob.

The compact SUV will be available in three engine options: a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, a 100hp, 1.4-litre petrol and a 90hp, 1.4-litre diesel motor. Scheduled to go on sale in India in May 2019, the Venue will take on the Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, and the Tata Nexon.
