2020 BS6 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and RTR 160 4V Launched In India

TVS Motor Company has introduced the 2020 range of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycles in the Indian market making the Apache RTR 4V series the first BS-VI vehicles from the stable of TVS Motor Company.The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 4V motorcycles now come equipped with new race graphics along with an all-new LED headlamp with claw styled position lamps, which according to the company, offers best in class long-range light penetration and an enhanced widespread. The 2020 range of Apache series is enabled with Race Tuned-Fuel injection 'RT-Fi' technology which is specially designed to ensure an enjoyable riding experience in all driving conditions throughout the engine's life.  It also features an in-built First in segment GTT - Glide Through Traffic capability for low-speed urban riding and enables an extremely smooth and controlled ride.Mechanically, the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V continues to be powered by the same 197.75cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine which produces 20.5 HP of maximum power and 16.8 Nm of peak torque.  All this power is sent to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. Some of the other features include the recently launched SmartXonnect technology, Dual-Channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) control and RT-Slipper Clutch. On the other hand, the RTR 160 4V continues to be powered by the same 159.7cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine, which now generates a maximum power of 16.02HP and the peak torque of 14.12Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.Also, both the motorcycles now come fitted with first-in-class high-performance radial rear tyre for enhanced stability and ride quality. The new 2020 RTR 200 4V series will now be available in 2 colours: Gloss Black and Pearl White. And the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V series will be available in three colours namely, Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Knight Black.
