Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the BSVI compliant X-Blade in the domestic market. The BS6 X-Blade will be available in two variants – Single disc & Double disc and is priced at INR 1.05 Lakh for the single-disc version (Ex-showroom, Noida, U.P.) The motorcycle is being offered in four colours - Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic. Honda is offering a special 6-year warranty package (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty) on the BS6 X-Blade.
The BS6 X-Blade retains its earlier design elements such as the robo-faced LED headlamp, LED taillight, aggressive fuel tank design with sharp tank extensions, and dual-outlet muffler. In terms of updates, it gets new dynamic graphics, an engine stop switch, and a new rear disc brake. Other styling elements like the link type gear shifter, groovy grab rail, wheel stripes, sporty under cowl & front fork cover, sharp side covers, and hugger fender stay the same.
The BS6 Honda X-Blade is powered by Honda’s 160cc PGM-FI NEWHET (Honda Eco Technology) engine that uses 8 onboard sensors to constantly inject optimum fuel and air mixture to achieve greater performance and superior efficiency. The motor produces 14 BHP at 8,000rpm and generates 14.7 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel with the help of a 5-speed gearbox. Honda says the engine is designed to deliver superior efficiency with best in class torque.
The BS6 X-Blade will compete against the likes of
Bajaj Pulsar NS160
, TVS
Apache RTR 160 4V
,
Hero Xtreme 160R
,
Suzuki Gixxer
, and
Yamaha FZS-FI V3
