2020 Hyundai Creta Gathers Over 10,000 Bookings in Less Than a Week in India

Hyundai has announced that it has received more than 10,000 bookings for the upcoming premium SUV, the all-new Creta in India. Hyundai had started accepting pre-bookings for the 2020 Creta on 2 March 2020.  Commenting on the Creta bookings, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director – Sales, Marketing & Service, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “We are overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response received from our Valued Customers that have chosen the All-New Creta – The Ultimate SUV. We are receiving customer inquiries at various touchpoints across the country as All-New Creta has created a stir with its Masculine & Futuristic Stance, Smart Technology, Powerful Performance, Advanced Connectivity, Intuitive Experience, and Enhanced Comfort. We have now opened the doors of the All-New Creta across Dealerships in India for Customers to experience the opulent interiors.”

The details of the new Creta are already out in the open, except the price. The second-gen Hyundai Creta will be powered by a 140 bhp 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol or a 115 bhp 1.5-liter petrol and a 115 bhp 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engines with transmission options that include a 6-speed manual transmission, a CVT and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) as well.

There is a black and beige interior theme on the dash and the perforated seats and have a criss-cross, diamond-stitch design.  The dash on the new Creta houses a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that is landscape-orientated which comes with Advanced BlueLink connected car tech that first debuted on the Venue compact SUV and a Bose Premium Sound System with 8 Speakers. It will also come with a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with a tire pressure monitor.

It will also come with Drive & Traction Modes for the engine – like Comfort, Eco, and Sport – along with modes depending on traction – such as snow, sand, and mud. Higher variants will also come with rear disc brakes. Other features on the new Creta include Voice-Enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof, Trio Beam LED Headlamps, Electric Parking Brake, Auto Healthy Air Purifier, 2 Step Rear Seat Reclining, Paddle Shifters, and MT Remote Engine Start. The 2020 Hyundai Creta will go head to head with the Kia Seltos and the Tata H5 in the Nepali market.
