Isuzu has taken the wraps off the newest D-Max pick up truck, the D-Max is a full-model update for the first time in eight years. The all-new D-Max has a longer wheelbase than the current model but is shorter and lighter. The exterior of the D-Max has a chunky, rugged demeanor while the headlights are bi-LED projectors. LED lights are also in effect at the rear, along with an integrated rear bumper.[gallery size="full" ids="12236,12238"]Inside, the new D-Max gets a new 9.0-inch infotainment system that comes with navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which is the centerpiece of the new dashboard. Safety systems such as blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert are also in the D-Max’s roster. The all-new pickup also has a dual-zone climate control system.[gallery size="full" ids="12239,12240"]Powering the newest Isuzu D-Max is a choice of two engines, a 1.9-liter diesel engine that makes 150hp and 350Nm of torque and a 3.0-liter diesel unit that is tuned to produce 190hp and 450Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic and there are four-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive options available too.
