SsangYong has just taken the wraps off the 2020 Rexton G4. The burly SUV gets minor cosmetic updates to the exterior, with no changes being made to the powertrain. It now features a larger grille in a honeycomb mesh finish, redesigned front and rear bumpers with silver skid plates at both ends and LED tail lamps. The side profile remains unchanged. At the rear, the only change is the repositioned badges.
On the inside, the upgrade is only limited to new color scheme options and retractable sun-blinds for the rear windows. Other than that, the new Rexton’s instrument cluster, infotainment screen, and central console layout remain unchanged. The SUV does get added features like blind-spot monitoring system, lane departure warning, and headlight toggling via the key fob as standard across the range.
It continues to be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine which produces 184.4 Bhp of power (up by 3% than the preceding model) and 421.69 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is coupled to a 7-speed DCT as standard and also offers a 4WD option.
