Hyundai Motor has shared a glimpse of its upcoming new Kona and Kona N Line SUVs. In pictures shared by the company online, it can be seen that the new Kona gets a wider stance and a shark-inspired nose that gives the model a sleeker look.
Upgraded daytime running lamps (DRL) give it a high-tech, sophisticated style. The front skid plate and bumper add to its armored appearance. While we haven't seen the rear, a refreshed bumper and tail-lamp internals will likely be on the cards.
The Kona will also get the sportier N-Line this time around, going by the pictures, the new Kona N Line receives a more aerodynamic design with low-set air intakes and a more aggressive front bumper, complemented by corner fins and lean crease lines. The Kona N Line's engine is speculated to be an updated Smartstream version of the 1.6-liter engine, boosting power to 215 bhp.
Launch timing for the refreshed Kona and Kona N Line is still to be confirmed, although the company says it will reveal more details in the coming weeks.
