Renault has launched the updated 2021 Renault Triber in India between INR 4.95 lakh- Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact MPV has received mild changes in the form of minor cosmetic improvements, a few additions as well as a new option for paint. The car was unveiled in 2019 and has been updated for the first time since its introduction. 2021 Triber is sold in four trims-RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ, which are the same as before.
Although the RXL trim hasn't got any new features, the RXT model now has new LED turn indicators on the ORVMs as well as new steering-mounted audio and phone controls. A height-adjustable driver's seat and the option of a black roof and wing mirrors are noteworthy additions to the RxZ with a Mystery Black roof and ORVMs as an option. The 2021 Renault Triber now comes with a new color scheme called Cedar Brown. Apart from this, everything remains identical to the current iteration of the MPV.
The Triber received a lot of recognition at the 2019 NADA Auto Show. The Nepalese market, however, is only offering the sub-4 meter seven-seater Triber in a five-seater configuration. The Triber is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 71 horsepower and torque of 96 Nm. A five-speed manual transmission is coupled with it. The Triber is 3,990 mm long, 1,739 mm wide, and 1643 mm tall. The ground clearance is 182 mm, with a 2,636 mm wheelbase.
In addition, the vehicle has a large 625-liter boot space. ABS with EBD, 3-point belts in all rows, four airbags (driver, passenger, and front sides), rear parking sensors, and a reverse camera are among the Triber's safety features. The Triber is based on an updated version of Renault's CMF-A+ platform and is the result of a joint collaboration between Renault teams in India and France.
