Hyundai Motor India has revealed the official exterior sketches of the all-new Verna ahead of its global debut on March 21.
The sixth-gen Verna looks completely different from its predecessor. The sedan now looks quite sharp and unique. It gets a split headlamp set-up up front with a full LED light bar strip running the width of the front fascia. The new Verna gets a massive grille similar to the new Tucson and the new Elantra. The sedan gets sharp cuts and creases in profile along with new premium-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear section too gets a full-width LED light bar and a LED light setup.
The all-new Hyundai Verna has been equipped with a range of 4 powertrains including a new 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol engine that is available with 6-speed Manual Transmission (6MT) and 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (7DCT). Hyundai is also offering the 1.5 MPi Petrol engine that is available with 6MT and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). Further, all these powertrains are RDE-compliant engines that are also E20 fuel ready.
The all-new Verna will be offered in 4 trim options – EX, S, SX and SX(O).
