The Nexon is looking for a major update and the leaked images online during its testing in India have further embraced that fact. The Nexon facelift will get a completely redone, squared-out front-end with a new grille, headlights, and bumper. Blacked-out C-pillars, reprofiled tail-lamps and a restyled rear bumper complete the makeover.

The Tata Nexon facelift will come powered by BS6-spec versions of the current Nexon’s engines. There will be no change to power and torque figures; the 1.2-liter Revotron turbo-petrol produces the same 110hp at 5,000rpm and 170Nm of torque at 1,750-4,000rpm as before. The 1.5-liter Revotorq turbo-diesels figures remain 110hp at 3,750rpm and 260Nm of torque at 1,500-2,750rpm. As before, both engine options will be available with a 6-speed manual and AMT-auto gearbox options.
