Dongfeng Sokon (DFSK), is a joint venture between Dongfeng and Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Co Ltd., formed on June 27th, 2003. DFSK produces microvans, flat-bed commercial trucks, and passenger vehicles under the Dongfeng Fengguang brand. In July 2018, DFSK launched an SUV line in Indonesia and now the brand has made its way into Nepal, with the Glory 580. The DFSK Glory 580 starts at a price of Rs. 62.80 lakhs and will top out at Rs. 69.99 lakhs.

With dimensions(LxWxH) coming in at 4680mm/1845mm/1715mm and with a wheelbase of 2780mm the 580 is a sizeable SUV. Up to 30 in-vehicle storage spaces to allow consumers to enjoy the convenience. In addition, the 2+3+2 seat layout allows users to flexibly change according to their own needs.

Powering the 580 is a 1.5 DVVT turbo petrol mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that makes 150 horses and 250Nm of torque. The Glory 580 is also equipped with an anti-lock brake system (ABS), Electronic brake force distribution system (EBD), brake assist (BA), electronic parking system (EPS), hill assist function,  tire pressure monitoring system, driving recorder, reverse camera parking, 10-inch smart touch screen, integrated leather multi-function steering wheel, smart key, electronic handbrake, etc.

Since its first launch in June 2016, in less than 2 years DFSK Glory 580 has sold more than 400,000 units and has been successfully exported to Egypt, Chile, Colombia, and 20 other countries. World recognition also led DFSK Glory 580 won numerous awards since its emergence in China, such as DFSK Glory 580 won the Gold Award of 2017 Best SUV from China Automobile Association and Medias, furthermore, DFSK Glory 580 1.5 L Turbo CVT also won the “Top Ten” engine from China Automobile Industry Association.
