Vaidya Energy Pvt Ltd has launched the 2025 Ather 450X and the 2025 Ather 450S in the Nepalese market.
The pricing for the 2025 Ather 450 lineup starts at Rs 324,999 for the 2025 Ather 450S. The 2025 Ather 450X is available at Rs 364,999 for the 2.9 kWh variant and Rs 399,999 for the 3.7 kWh variant.
The Ather 450X (3.7 kWh) now offers an improved True Range of up to 130 km (IDC Range: 161 km). The Ather 450X (2.9 kWh) and the Ather 450S now deliver an improved True Range of up to 105 km (IDC Range: 126 km and 122 km, respectively).
The latest edition of the Ather 450X now features multi-mode traction control, an innovative feature for rider safety in Nepal. This system prevents the scooter from slipping on low-friction surfaces, ensuring superior stability and control. By integrating this feature, Ather provides riders with a more confident riding experience in city traffic and beyond.
The multi-mode traction control system is designed to enhance rider safety by preventing slippage on low-friction surfaces. Under slippery conditions, the system synchronizes the rear wheel speed with the front, improving stability.
Riders can choose from three distinct modes—Rain Mode, Road Mode, and Rally Mode—each fine-tuned for specific riding scenarios. The Rain Mode prioritizes maximum safety by reducing slip and enhancing grip on wet and slippery surfaces. The Road Mode strikes a balance between safety and performance, making it ideal for everyday riding. For off-road enthusiasts, the Rally Mode offers controlled slip, enhancing rider safety while unlocking performance potential and ensuring optimal control in diverse riding conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, Suryansh Vaidya, CEO of Vaidya Energy Pvt Ltd, stated, "Over the last 1.5 years, Ather scooters have been well received in Nepal, with customers particularly impressed by the performance of the 450X and 450S. Now, we are excited to introduce the 2025 Ather 450, which enhances both safety and performance. By incorporating multi-mode traction control, we are delivering features previously reserved for premium motorcycles, all within a sleek scooter design. This update, along with an improved range, will make rides more convenient for our customers, and we look forward to their positive response."
To further enhance the riding experience, Ather has focused on maximizing range by introducing multi-compound tires developed in collaboration with MRF.
The 2025 Ather 450 is powered by Ather Stack 6, the latest version of Ather’s software engine, offering a host of features. Google Maps integration enables seamless navigation, while Alexa voice assistant support allows for hands-free operation.
The dashboard now supports WhatsApp notifications, keeping riders connected without the need for a smartphone. The "Ping My Scooter" feature helps locate the scooter in crowded parking spaces using sound and visual cues, while Live Location Sharing allows riders to share their real-time location with a preset contact while on the move.
Ather Energy’s first Experience Centre in Nepal was launched in 2023 in collaboration with Vaidya Energy Pvt Ltd. Currently, Nepal boasts six Ather Experience Centres, one test ride zone, five service centres, and 21 Ather Grid fast chargers, ensuring widespread accessibility for customers.
To enhance customer confidence, Vaidya Energy is introducing the Eight 70 Warranty, which includes an 8-year or 80,000 km battery warranty (whichever comes first) and a 70% battery health assurance, ensuring long-term performance and reliability. Additionally, the AMC Package offers Ather Care, Ather Care Plus, and Ather Care Max for comprehensive vehicle maintenance and support.
Further expanding its lineup, Vaidya Energy has also opened bookings for the highly anticipated Ather Rizta, catering to a wider audience seeking innovation and efficiency in electric mobility.
