Tata Motors has showcased the close-to-production guise of the Harrier (H5) EV which will go on sale in the market in 2024.The Harrier EV is engineered on Tata's Omega architecture used by the current Harrier (H5) and combines that with the company's Gen 2 architecture to offer an improved range and power over the Nexon EV.Although Tata has not revealed anything on the battery capacity or electric motor specifications of the Harrier EV, the company did reveal that it will get a dual-motor and an all-wheel drive setup. The Harrier EV will also feature cloud-connected telematics, vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capacities, among others. The Harrier EV looks largely the same as its ICE counterpart, however, with more EV-focused aerodynamic touches. Although it carries the same split headlamp setup, there's a new blanked-off grille and a redesigned front bumper. The profile gets new '.EV' badges on the fenders and large alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets a redesigned bumper and a new tail-lamp assembly unit with a LED light bar running the width of the tailgate. As per reports, the Harrier EV could feature a 60 kWh battery pack to target a real-world range of around 400-500 km.
