The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 has been launched in Nepal at Rs 3,19,900. Bajaj says the new Avenger Street 160 will provide a sporty cruiser experience to the large chunk of 150-160 cc users who seek comfort and power without compromising on the features and price.
The entry-level Avenger comes with a 160 cc single-cylinder BS4 engine that generates 15 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm, along with 13.5 Nm peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The motor comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 borrows the styling cues from the other Street models mainly the roadster inspired headlamp with LED DRLs, street centric handlebars, and low slung and long seat for a relaxed riding posture. The bike also gets black alloy wheels and wide rear tyre.
The braking setup on the Avenger Street 160 includes 280 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum along with a single-channel ABS. Similarly, the suspension duties are handled by a pair of telescopic forks up-front and a five-step adjustable twin shock absorbers at the back. The bike measures 2186mm in length, 806mm in width and 1070mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1480mm. Ground clearance stands at 169mm while saddle height is 737mm. It tips the scale at 154 kg.
The Avenger Street 160 will be available in the same two colour options - Ebony Black and Spicy Red. It competes with the Suzuki Intruder 155 in the Nepalese market. For more information, visit
