BAW has officially launched the affordable BAW Brumby urban electric car in Nepal, and LRR Motors, the authorized importer of BAW Electric Vehicles, is offering 0% interest financing for a limited period.
Priced at Rs 21.90 lakh, the BAW Brumby is a 5-door, 4-seater electric vehicle designed for city commuting. It features a 17.28 kWh LFP battery paired with a 30 kW motor, providing a range of 200 km. The vehicle's dimensions are 3532 mm x 1498 mm x 1605 mm, and it rides on 13-inch wheels with a ground clearance of 170 mm.
Inside, the Brumby includes a dual 10.5-inch infotainment screen, smartphone connectivity, two drive modes, air conditioning, and a 360-degree camera. However, charging is done via an AC charger only.
For safety, the Brumby is equipped with dual airbags, front and rear parking radar, and a rear-view camera. It is available in three colors: Cyan, Grey, and White.
The Brumby has already attracted considerable interest, with over 127 bookings recorded at the recent NADA Auto Show 2024.
