The wait is now finally over as BMW Motorrad Nepal has opened pre-bookings for two of the company's most anticipated motorcycles - BMW G 310R and BMW G 310GS. The booking amount for both, the G 310 R and G 310 GS stands at Rs. 1,00,000. In Nepal, the introductory pricing for the BMW G 310 R starts at a tantalizing Rs. 9,50,000 and tops out at Rs. 9,75,000. The GS 310R will cost Rs. 10,90,000 - Rs. 11,15,000. Potential buyers should be pretty happy with the pricing, and the availability of financing should bring a smile across everyone's face.Their warranty period is of 3 years with no cap on the number of kilometers you rack up during this time. Owners of the motorcycles need to bring them in for the first servicing at the completion of the first 1000kms and the succeeding servicing intervals will come every 10,000kms or 1 year (whichever comes first).
To pre-book the motorcycles, customers can either visit their sales/service center at Narayanchaur Naxal or contact them by calling them at 9801910751.With the much-awaited BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS, BMW Motorrad will not only enter but redefine this segment in Nepal. Both the G 310 R and G 310 GS are the entry-level motorcycles from the German automaker. The G 310 R is a roadster which takes styling cues from the BMW S 1000 R and the G 310 GS is its tourer version inspired by the company's GS adventure series.[gallery size="full" ids="6311,6309"]Both motorcycles are powered by a 313cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine producing 34 bhp power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The claimed fuel efficiency is around 30 kmpl while top speed stands at 144 kmph.[gallery size="full" ids="6313,6314,6315,6316"]Key highlights on board the BMW 310 twins include USD front forks, rear monoshock with adjustable preload, Metzeler tyres along with a twin channel ABS system. The GS version also gets stubby front beak, radiator shrouds, longer-travel suspension set-up, larger 19-inch front wheel and some other mechanical changes.
