Camp Jeep Kicks Off! Enthusiasts Can Now Test The Capabilities Of Jeep Vehicles

Jeep Nepal has kicked off a four days Jeep Camp in Kathmandu to demonstrate the potential and capabilities of its machines.

MAW Life, the authorised importer of Jeep SUVs in Nepal, called media and a few of the SUV enthusiast to push its freshly launched Jeep Compasss Trailhawk and Jeep Compass Limited Plus to their limits on a highly demanding artificially made off-road track in premises of National Trading in Baggikhana, Kathmandu.

The track comprised of artificial off-road trails including various obstacle to test different off-road capabilities of the Jeep vehicles. The different obstacles included multiple ascent and decents, rock climbing, articulation, maneuverability test, and sandpits. Mr. Vishnu Agarwal, MD of MAW Enterprises flagged off the event by driving away the trail himself.

Jeep Compass Trailhawk was launched during the ongoing NADA Auto Show 2019. The new All-Wheel Drive (AWD) SUV boasts of a BSVI (BS6) compliant engine, better transmission, improved fuel efficiency, superior off-roading capability and multiple terrain modes.

Jeep Compass Trailhawk is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that makes 173 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The motor is offered with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The new off-roader comes with Jeep Active Drive 4×4 Low. One gets an option for a new ‘Rock Mode’ in terrain selection, along with Auto, Snow, Mud and Sand modes. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is priced at Rs 1 Crore 24 Lakhs and 90 thousand in Nepal.

Launched a few months back, the Jeep Compass Limited Plus is fully loaded, is available with a petrol two wheel drive automatic or a diesel two wheel drive and four wheel drive manual. The price of Limited Plus ranges from 97 lakhs 90 rupees to 1 crore five lakhs 90 thousands rupees.
