CG Motors, a prominent authorized distributor for several electric vehicle (EV) brands in Nepal, has expanded its portfolio by adding Jetour to its offerings.
The company has recently entered into a strategic agreement with Jetour to introduce the brand’s right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles to the Nepali market through CG Motors' extensive distribution network.
Jetour, a subsidiary under the renowned Chery Group, is making waves with its rugged and stylish SUVs. Although a relatively new player, having been launched in 2018, Jetour has quickly gained recognition for its strong, off-road-capable crossovers. The brand has seen remarkable success in its home country of China, with sales doubling thanks to its robust vehicle lineup that appeals to adventure and off-road enthusiasts.
The formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Jetour and CG Motors was signed by Mr. Kevin Xu, Vice President of JETOUR International, and Mr. Hemant Agrawal, CEO/Director of CG Motors Pvt Ltd, in the presence of other key figures including Mr. Ke Chuandeng, Vice President of Jetour Auto, and Ms. Huamei Zhou, President of Hong Kong Meihua International Trade Co., Ltd.
As Jetour continues to build its global presence, this partnership marks an exciting new chapter for Jetour as it expands its footprint into the Nepali automotive market, promising a range of high-performance vehicles for Nepalese consumers.
