Changan Hunter Pickup Truck Now In Nepal; Launch Soon

Moving forward with a motive of launching five premium vehicles within the next two years, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorised distributor of Changan Auto in Nepal, is all set to launch the Hunter pickup in the Nepalese market.  The 'Hunter' lifestyle pickup which will be available in both 4WD and 2WD drivetrains will be launched in January 2022.The Hunter pickup truck displays striking design characteristics. It gets a robust-looking front face which is dominated by a large chrome surround front grille with Changan's logo in the middle. The pickup truck has a dynamic and bold stance giving it a sturdy presence. Muscular side profile makes the Hunter look wide and strong. Changan has also provided the Hunter with front fog lamps, electric ORVMs, cargo anchoring hooks, and rain-sensing wipers, etc.The Hunter pickup truck is powered by a 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.  Complementing the striking exteriors of the Hunter pickup truck is a feature-loaded cabin. In terms of comfort and convenience, the Hunter comes well equipped with electric adjustment seats, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, automatic AC, rear ac vents, and a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster. Infotainment duties are handled by a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with phone mirroring.Dimensions wise, the Changan Hunter measures 5330mm long, 1930mm wide, and 1835mm high.  The pickup truck has a wheelbase of 3180mm and a ground clearance of 231mm. Similarly, the cargo box measures 1600mm long, 1590mm wide and 510mm high. Changan claims a best-in-class cargo capacity with up to 1 ton and the highest ground clearance. The pickup truck gets a generous fuel tank capacity of 80 litres. It sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.The Hunter pickup truck gets an array of active and passive safety features like dual airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program, hill start assist control, hill descent control, traction control system, rear parking sensors, and rear camera.
