After the Deepal S07 premium electric SUV rapidly gained popularity among Nepali EV enthusiasts due to its impressive technology and design, Changan's official distributor in Nepal, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, is preparing to introduce the Deepal L07 electric sedan at this year's NADA Auto Show.
The L07 is built on the EPA1 platform dedicated to electric vehicles, featuring a 66.8 kWh battery that offers an impressive range of up to 540 kilometers on a single charge. This makes the L07 both luxurious and capable for long journeys. The rear-wheel-drive system ensures balanced performance, while the advanced digital battery management system enhances energy efficiency.
Inside, the L07 features a 15.6-inch Sunflower Touchscreen that interacts with passengers and a welcoming seat that adjusts automatically to the driver's height as they enter the car. Additionally, the L07 offers a 70-liter "frunk" (front trunk) space, providing ample storage both at the front and rear. The 19-inch tires not only add to the vehicle's appeal but also improve its performance.
The L07 also includes four driving modes—Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Customize—allowing drivers to tailor their driving experience. For safety, it is equipped with advanced features such as Interactive Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent ADAS 2.5, six airbags, Automatic Emergency Braking, Driver Fatigue Monitoring System, Safe Distance Warning, 360-degree cameras with Transparent Chassis, a drive video recorder, and distraction warnings.
The company has also hinted that Changan may showcase another new EV model alongside the L07, although details about this additional vehicle remain undisclosed.
According to a source from MAW Vriddhi, "This new EV will redefine the driving experience and bring new meaning to the tagline ‘Touch the Future.’”
MAW Vriddhi plans to unveil this secret model at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2024.
