Chery To Introduce Omoda E5 EV In Nepal Soon

SPG Automobiles, the sole authorized distributor for Chery Automobile in Nepal, will introduce Omoda EVs in the Nepalese market. Omoda is a premium sub-brand of Chinese automotive giant Chery and is one of the world’s newest car brands. No official specifications for the Nepal-bound Omoda E5 EV have been released so far.Omoda comes from the Latin root, "O" is derived from oxygen, indicating new life and vitality, and "MODA" which comes from "Modern", which signifies the brand’s focus on a modern and fashionable lifestyle. The brand Omoda represents in-depth insight and focuses on youth, diversification and globalisation, says the company.Omoda has received unrivalled attention since its launch at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. By welcoming Omoda to its shores, Nepal will join several countries globally, including some in South America, Asia, Europe and Australia to the list of those selling this ultra-modern vehicle brand.
