After releasing some teaser images online of the upcoming RediGo, more images have leaked online that shows the updated Redigo in its entirety. To start with, the updated Redigo gets some significant styling changes upfront. According to the leaked images, the Redi-Go facelift comes with an octagonal grille with chrome trim on the sides and lower edge. The front bumper has large L-shaped LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps. It has sleeker-looking smoked headlights. At the rear, the car gets new LED taillights and a roof spoiler. The car also has dual-tone wheel covers.[gallery size="full" ids="17148,17147,17146"]The Redigo’s interior looks to have taken a giant leap forward as well. New grey and silver inserts make the cabin appear a lot more upmarket. However, what really takes center stage is the new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility as well as voice commands. The car also comes with a 2-tone instrument cluster, internally adjustable ORVMs, a rearview camera, and dual front airbags.
The Datsun Redi-Go facelift is expected to be offered with BS6 compliant 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter petrol engines. It is expected to get a 5-speed AMT and 5-speed manual transmission option. It is likely to be offered in four variants - D, A, T, and T (O), and bookings are expected to open on May 15, 2020.(Image: Pilot On Wheelz)
