Deepal E07 Electric SUV-Pickup to Debut Next Week in Nepal

MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the official distributor for Changan cars and Deepal EVs in Nepal, is preparing to launch the Deepal E07—a versatile electric SUV that can transform into a pickup truck—by January 2025. The Deepal E07 will be priced at Rs 1,03,99,000 in the Nepali market.

The Deepal E07 is the world’s first mass-produced SUV with such a transformer-like feature. Built on Changan’s innovative SDA (Super DNA) platform, the E07 combines an all-aluminium alloy chassis with a unique dual-mode system, enabling users to switch seamlessly between SUV and pickup truck configurations. In SUV mode, it has the sleek appearance of an extended coupe with a low beltline and an electrically retractable trunk cover.

In the Nepali market, the E07 will be powered by a 190 kW rear-wheel drive system, delivering 258 PS of power and 365 Nm of torque, with a WLTP range of 566 kilometers. The E07 spans 5045 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, and 1640 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3120 mm. Despite its large size, it features two rows of seating and comes equipped with air suspension and a continuous damping system for a smooth and comfortable ride.

Built to handle tough terrains and challenging roads, the E07 boasts an impressive 600mm water-wading capacity. It also features a 28.86-inch Augmented Reality HUD and a 3D model car control interface. Other standout features include zero-gravity seating, an 18-speaker sound system, and auto parking functionality. The advanced suspension system includes a double-wishbone front suspension and H-arm rear suspension.

For safety, the Deepal E07 will include Changan’s self-developed intelligent driving assistance system, equipped with 11 cameras, five millimetre-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and two lidars.
