Deepal S07 Gets Top Spot as Thailand's Leading EV in Only Four Months Since Launch

In just four months since its launch, the Deepal S07 has quickly risen to become Thailand's best-selling EV. April alone saw a remarkable 754 units sold, solidifying the Deepal S07's position as Thailand's top EV. Originating from China's renowned Automaker Changan, the premium EV brand Deepal has been gaining rapid popularity in Nepal since its recent debut.Following Deepal, the BYD Dolphin secured the second-highest sales position with 500 units sold in April. The MG ZS EV follows closely behind in third place, with 478 units sold. Meanwhile, the Honda E-N1 saw 163 units sold publicly in April.Thailand witnessed a total of 4,888 vehicle registrations last month, constituting 10.75% of the total registrations. Noteworthy mentions include 382 Netta B, 301 Aion Y Plus, 217 BYD Auto3, 180 BYD Seal, 169 Good Cat, and 159 Tesla Model 3 units sold during the same period.Looking ahead, Deepal has set ambitious targets, aiming to sell 450,000 EV units across European and ASEAN markets in 2024. Plans are underway for local manufacturing, with Deepal intending to commence production from its Thai plant by 2025.
