Shaurya Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched the JMEV GSE electric sedan in Nepal, priced at Rs 53.99 Lakh. The JMEV GSE is being marketed as "The Most Valuable Premium Sedan," combining modern technology, luxury features, and eco-friendly performance to offer a new option for Nepal’s growing electric vehicle market.
The JMEV GSE is manufactured by Jiangxi Jiangling Group Electric Vehicle Co. Ltd. (JMEV), a leading electric vehicle company based in China. Founded in 2015, JMEV quickly became a key player in China’s EV industry and gained further global recognition when the Renault Group bought a 50% stake in the company in 2019.
The JMEV GSE is perfectly suited to Nepal’s unique driving conditions, says the company. The car is powered by a 49 kWh battery and a 99 kW motor to deliver 225 Nm of torque. The JMEV GSE offers a range of 420 km on a single charge (NEDC tested). The electric sedan also supports DC fast charging capabilities.
In terms of dimensions, the JMEV GSE has a length of 4675mm, a width of 1835mm, a height of 1480mm, and a wheelbase of 2750mm. With a ground clearance of 170 mm, the GSE is built to handle our diverse terrain. Inside, the car features a panoramic moonroof that enhances the in-cabin experience, and the GSE is also equipped with a 360° Around View Monitor (AVM) Visual System.
The JMEV GSE also comes with Michelin Haoyue 4 Mute tires, designed to ensure a quieter and more comfortable ride. Additionally, with 410 liters of boot space, the GSE offers plenty of space for daily use.
