Proton eMas7 Electric SUV Set to Launch in Nepal

In an exciting development announced during the global launch event, the Proton eMas 7 electric SUV will soon be available in several countries, including Nepal, Trinidad and Tobago, Singapore, and Mauritius.

This marks the first production of Proton's fully electric vehicle, with its official release expected in the first quarter of 2025 in Nepal.

In Malaysia, the Proton eMas 7 is priced at RM109,800 (approximately NPR 33 lakh), and it will be offered in two variants. Both models feature a front-mounted electric motor producing 218 PS (215 hp or 160 kW) and 320 Nm of torque. 

The Prime variant is equipped with a 49.52-kWh Geely Aegis short-blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a WLTP-rated range of 345 km, while the Premium variant comes with a larger 60.22-kWh battery for a range of up to 410 km.

The Proton eMas 7 has also earned a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP, showcasing the brand's commitment to safety for both passengers and road users.

With Proton’s internal combustion engine vehicles already available in Nepal, the eMas 7 is set to bring advanced features and state-of-the-art technology to the Nepali market, catering to the evolving needs of local consumers.
