Discussions Held Between Officials of NADA and Asian Development Bank

NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) recently engaged in an in-depth conversation with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ABD) at NADA's headquarters in Teku, Kathmandu.

Chaired by NADA President Karan Chaudhary, the discussion focused on exploring the prospects of the Nepalese automobile market, addressing the challenges associated with the electric vehicle business, and formulating a strategic plan to navigate through these challenges.

The participants resolved to delve into the intricacies of the market dynamics and chart a course for the future development of the automotive industry in Nepal, with a specific emphasis on electric vehicles.

Dr. Sumit Pokharel, Chandan Sapkota, Rupak Sharma and Krishna Pathak were present on behalf of ADB in that meeting. Similarly, NADA Vice President Rajan Babu Shrestha, General Secretary Surendra Kumar Uperati, Secretary Vikram Singhania and Co-Treasurer Pankaj Agarwal were also present in the discussion.
