Foton Nepal has launched the Mountain EV, an electric passenger van suited for our terrain, priced at Rs 57.49 lakh for the 15-seater version and Rs 58.99 Lakh for the 14-seater version. During the launch, the company also delivered the first 100 units of the vehicle.
According to Foton Nepal, the Mountain EV is set to redefine Nepal's electric vehicle passenger segment, thanks to its array of segment-first features.
Designed to meet the demands of Nepal’s unique terrain, the Mountain EV is equipped with an industry-leading 53.58 kWh battery, providing a range of 300 km on a full charge (NEDC).
The van delivers a peak output of 130 kWh and a maximum torque of 330 Nm, with an impressive 25% gradeability, making it the first electric passenger vehicle of its kind in Nepal.
Available in 14- to 16-seater configurations, the Mountain EV offers a spacious, comfortable interior with a high roof for added headroom. Several segment-first features include Auto Hold Control, Smart Parking Assistance, Hill Hold Control (HHC), two drive modes, and R16 tires.
