GAC Aion, the electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of GAC Group, is making its debut in the Nepalese market on February 13, 2024, further expanding its international presence. CG Motors, the official distributor of GAC in Nepal, will provide in-depth details regarding the pricing and features during the official launch.GAC's electric vehicle offering, AION Y Plus, boasts cutting-edge magazine batteries developed in-house. These batteries feature a special layout that provides superior high-temperature resistance and explosion resistance.As per the specs chart on the company's local website, the vehicle will feature a 61.54 kWh LFP battery to offer an impressive NEDC range of 500 kilometers, paired with an electric motor producing a maximum power of 100 kW and a peak torque of 225 N⋅m, which allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.Based on the brand’s AEP 2.0 pure electric platform, the GAC Aion Y Plus has a length of 4535mm, a width of 1870mm, and a height of 1650mm. It has a generous wheelbase of 2750mm.Design-wise, the AION Y Plus adopts wing-style headlights and through-type taillights for a sleek and dynamic look. Inside, the AION Y Plus features a minimalist interior with a spacious and modern design. It boasts a large 14.6-inch central multimedia screen, which provides an immersive and intuitive user experience, The cabin also boasts an ultra-large panoramic sunroof.
