GO Ford has launched the next-generation Ford Everest in Nepal at a price of Rs.2.40 crore. The new Everest features a 2.0-liter diesel bi-turbo engine with Ford's 10-speed automatic transmission, adding to its line up from Ford's international market (Thailand). The vehicle delivers 210 PS power & 500 Nm torque and it comes with a 3-year or 60,000 km factory warranty.The SUV's design is rugged and refined with Ford's global design DNA reflected in the C-clamp headlamps and strong horizontal upper grille bar. Inside, the next-gen Everest offers a full-width coast-to-coast instrument panel and center console. The SUV is also packed with an array of amenities, such as integrated wireless charging, an electric parking brake, and fold-flat second- and third-row seats for carrying long loads safely.

The SUV also includes a new suite of driver-assist technologies like Active Park Assist 2.0, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, Lane-keeping system with Road-edge detection, Evasive steer assist, and Reverse brake.The SUV has a 50mm increase in track, allowing for a more controlled ride on the road. The tweaks to damper settings also make Everest's ride more fun and controllable both on- and off-road. The SUV is equipped with two four-wheel drive systems, underbody protection, off-road selectable drive modes, a rear locking differential, two functional tow hooks upfront, and upfitter switches for accessories. The Everest has a water-wading ability of up to 800mm and features a dedicated off-road screen that displays vehicle information and a front camera view of the terrain ahead, with predictive overlay guidelines to help drivers negotiate obstacles.Commenting on the launch, Akash Golchha, MD - G.O.
