Government Reinforces Odd-Even Rule For Vehicles

The government has reinforced odd-even rule for vehicles in Kathmandu valley and other affected districts from tomorrow. This includes the movement of both private two-wheelers and four-wheelers, and public vehicles. Vehicles with even plates (0,2,4,6 and 8) will be allowed on even dates going by the Nepali calendar while odd plates (1,3,5,7 and 9) will be allowed on odd dates.It has been strictly clarified by the government that the vehicles will be allowed to operate only for short-distances. And, there will be a night curfew from 9 pm till 5 am except for essential service providers.
