There is no mention of a replaceable battery, which is a feature found on the E-Pilen. Pierer Mobility, through its subsidiary KTM, is a member of a partnership with Piaggio, Yamaha, and Honda to create a swappable battery pack standard. The Vektorr was most likely in development even before Pierer Mobility agreed to join the collaboration or we will get to know about battery info later during the launch event.

In terms of design, the latest electric scooter follows Husqvarna’s design guidelines. The circular headlight unit in the front has a circular LED DRL border. “The Vektorr Concept is Husqvarna Motorcycles’ first electric scooter, and it is targeted squarely at the urban commuter who demands a lightweight, sleek, and efficient personal transport option to suit their busy lifestyle,” says Husqvarna. The seat is spacious and long enough for both the passenger and the pillion. A single spring suspension is used in both the front and rear. The front brakes are discs, while the rear brakes are drums. Alloys appear to be larger, and the production-spec variant may receive 12-inch alloys.

Husqvarna’s electric scooter would be a low-voltage (48 V) vehicle with a 4 kW (5 hp) engine, allowing it to be ridden with an A1 beginner license in Europe. The Vektorr Concept boasts a maximum speed of 45 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 95 kilometers (59 miles). Husqvarna didn’t go into any technical detail after that. However, we do know that the Vektorr was created in collaboration with Bajaj, which owns a stake in Pierer Mobility.

The Vektorr is possibly based on the same underpinnings as Bajaj’s Chetak electric scooter, based on the claimed range. India is expected to produce the final production model. The electric scooter from Husqvarna will be based on the Bajaj Chetak, which is currently available in India. Whereas the Chetak has a rather Vespa-like appearance, the Vektorr’s styling is more Husqvarna-like, with rounded edges and protruding shapes. In addition to these 2 hybrid bikes, the company also has an electric scooter project known as Husqvarna Bltz Concept, which can be folded in, for example, in public transport, a safe yet clean vehicle. This vision of Husqvarna Motorcycles is a revolutionary, enticing, and unique model for the future of electric transportation in cities.
