Hyundai Nepal Becomes The Official Partner of Pokhara Thunders FC

Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorized dealer of Hyundai vehicles for Nepal, has sponsored Pokhara Thunders FC, one of the seven teams in the first edition of the Nepal Super League, as a platinum sponsor in the upcoming Nepal Super League. Nepal Super League is the first franchise football tournament in Nepal.The first edition of the Nepal Super League is going to be held from 24 April to 15 May 2021. Nepal Super League is a seven-team tournament under the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), played in a round-robin format at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.Hyundai has been sponsoring the World Cup as well as various league competitions to develop and promote the game around the world. Laxmi Hyundai is already a household name when it comes to the development of various sports in Nepal.  The company has been directly supporting various sports like football and golf in Nepal for many years. Similarly, the company had also sponsored a team in the domestic 'A' division league for the past 10 years.Hyundai Motor expanded its portfolio of club football sponsorships ahead of the 2018/19 season by announcing four-year deals with Chelsea FC of the English Premier League. The Korean manufacturer signed an agreement to sponsor FIFA competitions in 1999 and has been the official automotive partner of every FIFA World Cup edition since 2002 as well as many other FIFA tournaments.Hyundai Nepal joins the bandwagon of automotive sponsors in the Nepal Super League. Kia Motors recently announced its sponsorship with Dhangadhi FC, and Yamaha Nepal is associated with Kathmandu Rayzrs FC.
