Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has introduced the Creta EV and the Made-in-Nepal Creta ICE to the Nepalese market.
The Creta EV starts at Rs. 51,96,000, while the locally assembled Creta ICE is priced from Rs. 53,96,000 onwards. The ICE model sees a price reduction of up to Rs. 9 lakh compared to the imported 2025 versions.
In Nepal, the Creta EV features a 42 kWh battery pack that generates 99 kW (132 bhp) and offers a range of 390 km. It stands out with a 200mm ground clearance and a breakover angle exceeding 17 degrees, the highest in its segment, making it capable of mild off-road adventures.
The Creta EV also supports 11kW AC charging, a unique feature in its category, allowing a household wall-mounted charger to fully charge the vehicle in just four hours. Unlike many competitors that provide only a repair kit, the Creta EV includes a spare tire for added convenience. In terms of safety, it is equipped with advanced features such as ADAS, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera, ensuring maximum protection for passengers.
Hyundai Nepal is actively working on ecosystem development by expanding its charging network under the new "Re-Lax" identity and integrating repair shops to enhance charging convenience. Additionally, the company has partnered with Attero India for battery recycling and residual value management, ensuring long-term sustainability while passing benefits on to customers.
The Creta EV comes with an 8-year battery warranty, while the Creta ICE includes a 3-year vehicle warranty, providing customers with peace of mind and long-term reliability.
