Janaki Automobiles Association Of Nepal Conducts A Sit-in Against Government Policies

Janaki Automobiles Association of Nepal, the institutional member of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) from Madhesh Province, recently organized a sit-in program in Dhalkebar, Dhanusha, against the policies and bank interest rates issued by Nepal Rastra Bank.

The industrialists protested saying that they were in trouble due to the tight monetary policy of Nepal Rastra Bank. Tejnarayan Sah, President of Mithila Industry and Commerce Association - Dhalkebar, said that he was forced to join the protest after the government oppressed industrialists.

Sah, who is also the president of the Janaki Automobiles Association of Nepal, informed us that due to the unnatural increase in the interest rate of banks the automobile industry is going bankrupt. He further added that until the central bank fixes the monetary policy the phased movement will continue.

The joint demonstration was organized by the Mithila Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal and Janaki Automobiles Association of Nepal.
