Kia Motors has revealed the sketches of the cabin of its upcoming SP2i Compact SUV.  Due to be unveiled next month, the sketches reveal a modern, tech-laden, and a sophisticated interior trimmed in high-quality materials.

The compact SUV will get a dual-tone themed interior with faux wood and brushed aluminium elements. The metallic highlights further extend to the air-con vents and the grab-bar on the passenger side of the centre console.  The major attraction of the dashboard is the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system providing seamless access to a range of features. The infotainment system will come with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation system, and voice commands, etc. Beneath the centre console is a digital screen for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning unit, and a rotary knob to possibly control temperature on the single-zone auto climate control system.

The multi-function three-spoke steering wheel will offer a host of controls at your fingertips. The sketches also show an automatic gearbox and paddle shifters can be seen too. The dial beside the gear lever suggests that it might come with different drive modes. It might be offered with AWD as an option too. Another unique feature confirmed by Kia is the Sound Mood Lighting technology that can alter the cabin’s ambient lighting to suit occupants’ preferences.

By adding a new global small SUV to its line-up, Kia Motors is extending its range of SUVs to fulfill the needs of customers in every region, with the new model possessing the space and capabilities of a traditional SUV in a compact package.
