Leapmotor Sends First Shipment of C10 SUVs from China to the Asia Pacific Region, Including Nepal

Leapmotor International, a joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor, has successfully dispatched the first batch of C10 SUVs from Shanghai, China, to several ports across the Asia Pacific region this month including Nepal.

This achievement marks an important milestone in their partnership and underscores the group’s commitment to rapidly advancing sustainable mobility in the Asia Pacific electric vehicle market.

The C10 SUV is equipped with advanced electric vehicle technology, delivering excellent performance, efficiency, and range. As of September 2024, Leapmotor ranks as the third-largest Chinese EV startup, with a total of 460,000 units delivered.

This initial shipment represents the start of a long-term collaboration focused on revolutionizing electric mobility in the Asia Pacific region, with plans for at least one new model to be released each year over the next three years. The C10 is Leapmotor’s first global product, designed to meet international standards for design and safety.

It is built on Leapmotor’s proprietary LEAP3.0 technology architecture, incorporating leading-edge features such as a centralized electronic and electrical architecture, cell-to-chassis (CTC) technology, and an advanced intelligent cockpit. 

This D-segment vehicle is family-oriented, providing a premium ride and handling experience, a WLTP range of 420 km, and achieving the 5-star E-NCAP safety rating.
