Mahindra's flagship SUV, the XUV700, has crossed the 1,00,000-unit production milestone in India. First launched in August 2021, Mahindra took less than two years to achieve this target with sales crossing over 90,000 units. Since its launch, the XUV700 has witnessed huge demand in the Indian market, with a waiting period extending over a year.The XUV700 is available in two trims: MX and AdrenoX, in a 5-seater or 7-seater configuration. The SUV comes loaded to the brim with features like a dual 10.25-inch screen layout, panoramic sunroof, ADAS, dual-zone climate control, leatherette upholstery, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, seven airbags, LED headlights, 17-inch/18-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree cameras, a 3D surround sound system, a blind view monitor, and an electronic parking brake.In our market, the XUV700 starts from Rs 74 Lakh and goes up to Rs 1.10 crore. The XUV700 is available in three trims; AX3, AX5 and AX7, and 6 variants in both manual and automatic transmission options. In the Nepalese market, the Mahindra XUV700 is offered with a 2.0-litre, 197hp/380 Nm petrol engine. Similarly, the SUV comes with an FWD configuration only.In terms of safety, the Mahindra XUV 700 has achieved five stars for adult occupants and four stars for child occupants in Global NCAP. The XUV700 was tested in compliance with the requirements of Global NCAP’s voluntary test procedure.
