Maxxis Tyres Awarded The A'Design Award

Maxxis Tyres announced that its T Razr Transformative tyre has won Silver in the ‘A’ Design Award and Competition, for the Best Automotive Accessories and Car Care Products Design category. Maxxis Tyres, one of the leading manufacturers of tyres in the world, came up with a radical idea in 2018. Conceptualised in 2018 in Taiwan, this 656mm x 240mm x 656mm T Razr tyre is developed to actively detect different driving conditions and provide active signals to transform the contact area of the tyre, thus improving traction and performance.The tyre is designed to offer extra control for drivers to react to unexpected road conditions, the charging function provides electricity for the transforming process. The sport mode is designed for providing extra control ability on the tyres for the drivers to cope with unexpected road conditions whereas the charging function providing electricity the tyres need for transforming.Speaking about the achievement, Mr Jason Hong, R&D manager, Maxxis Tyres said, “It’s a matter of immense pride for the entire Maxxis family.
