Mega Business Group Pvt Ltd. has recently signed an exclusive agreement with China Hi-Tech Off-Road Vehicle Company (CHTC Motor), to introduce the Chinese manufacturer's electric passenger vans in Nepal.
Under this agreement, Mega Business Group is now the authorised distributor of electric passenger 11-seater, and 14-seater vans, and other vehicles manufactured by CHTC Motor in Nepal.
CHTC Motor, a subsidiary of Sinomach Group, a Fortune 500 company and a state-owned enterprise in China, will introduce its electric van lineup to the Nepali market by the end of April 2024, as confirmed by company officials.
The CHTC Motor’s EV features a 41.86 kWh lithium-ion battery to deliver a 285 km range on a single charge. The van will be available with 11 and 14-seater capacity. As per the company, the van will feature best-in-segment seat width, height and leg space. Similarly, it gets a 205mm ground clearance, the highest in the segment. It also gets a 360-degree camera, leather-finished seats and sufficient boot space. The company will provide a warranty of 6 years or 3 lakh km.
