MotoGP Coming To India In 2023!

In an exciting development for motorcycle racing fans in the Indian sub-continent, MotoGP - the pinnacle class of world championship road racing is set to take place in India in 2023.As per media reports, the official announcement will soon be made by Dorna Motorsports. Dorna Motorsports is an international sports management and marketing company that holds commercial rights for MotoGP.While there is yet no information on the appointed circuit, the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Noida, UP, has the highest probability of hosting the inaugural race. The racetrack in Noida, on the outskirts of Delhi, was opened in 2011 when it hosted the first Formula One race on the Indian subcontinent. However, a tax dispute between the FIA and the Uttar Pradesh government soon after saw the Grand Prix being dropped from the calendar altogether.The Buddh International Circuit currently hosts various smaller races.
