NADA Auto Show 2024 is Concluding Today with Electric Cars and New Two-Wheelers in the Spotlight

Nepal’s premier automotive event, the NADA Auto Show 2024, is ending today. Since it began on August 27, the show has seen over 30 new products launched and revealed.

Electric vehicles have been the centrepiece of this year's event, with prominent brands such as Tata Motors, Dongfeng, Leapmotor, Deepal, BYD, Jaecoo, and MG showcasing their latest offerings.

Tata Motors introduced the highly anticipated Punch EV, Dongfeng presented the Nammi electric hatchback, Leapmotor launched the C10 premium electric SUV, and Deepal unveiled the L07 premium electric sedan. BYD featured the 2024 Atto 3, Sealion luxury electric SUV, Dolphin electric hatchback, and also highlighted its e-platform 3.0. Jaecoo debuted the J6 electric off-roader, while MG presented its Cyberster electric sports car on the first day.

In the budget-friendly electric four-wheelers section, Kaiyi Auto, BAW, and Henrey showcased their electric city cars.

The show also highlighted premium EV brands such as Zeekr, Xpeng, and Avatr. Zeekr launched the Zeekr X premium electric SUV, Xpeng unveiled the G6 coupe SUV, Riddara showcased its RD6 electric pickup truck and Avatr introduced the Avatr 11 electric coupe SUV. Skywell also showcased its BE11 electric SUV

Suzuki Cars was the sole non-EV participant, showcasing the new Swift, Jimny, and Fronx models. Hyundai displayed the locally assembled Venue alongside the new Creta, while Kia featured the luxury EV9 SUV, EV6, and Seltos.

In the two-wheeler segment, Triumph, CFMoto, and Royal Enfield drew significant attention with the Triumph 400 twins, CFMoto 450MT, and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Hero MotoCorp showcased its upcoming products. Suzuki launched the V-Strom 250. Yamaha introduced the WR155R adventure bike. Similarly, Bajaj Auto introduced the Pulsar NS400Z. TVS showcased its refreshed product lineup. Gogoro, Ather Energy, Garow and Zeeho attracted the largest crowds in the electric two-wheelers section.

The commercial vehicles segment also featured a range of electric options from manufacturers like Kinglong, Foton, Dongfeng, and SRM.
