NADA-Suggestions-Covid19-Lockdown-Featured-Image
Krishna Prasad Dulal, President - NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), has urged the government to reconsider the current ban and make proper arrangements for immunization of the people as soon as possible, and strictly follow other precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 infection. The current lockdown is not only crippling the country's economy but is also creating a dire problem of unemployment across all sectors. With the government unable to address this, the problem is bound to get worse as the ban is extended. Hence, NADA has also urged the government to reconsider this ban and develop guidelines to bring the country back on wheels. The Nepali automotive sector industry is reeling hard under the pressure of COVID-19 induced lockdown. And, the government stands in stark contrast to other countries in implementing swift vaccination programmes and controlling the number of Covid-19 cases. The current second wave which is driven by the more contagious variant has led to the dangerous spread of Covid-19 in Nepal.
