According to Mr Karan Chaudhary, Executive Director of CG|Motocorp,
“ The First Generation Suzuki Dzire was introduced more than a decade ago in Nepal Market. Since then, Dzire has proven itself to Nepali Customers in terms of practicality to Nepali roads, with best in class features and comfort. The 2021 Dzire offers next-generation K-series engine with segment-first idle start-stop technology (ISS), upgraded premium exterior design, refreshed interiors and advanced features. Suzuki has always believed in bringing technologies that benefit the customers. The introduction of advanced K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT BS6 petrol engine with idle start-stop function makes it more desirable, low on emissions and high on fuel efficiency".
He further added,
“ The 2021 Dzire is a testament of the promise to offer products with state-of-the-art design & advanced technology that will suit the need and want of Nepali Customers and in-process creating customer delight”.
The 2021 Dzire is powered by the new 1.2-litre DualJet BS6 petrol engine from the BS6 Baleno with a first-in-segment idle start-stop function. This leads to best in segment fuel efficiency of 23.26* Km/L in MT. The new K-series engine also offers an increased power output of 89 bhp @6000rpm. Torque remains identical at 113 Nm.
On the outside, it gets a new front fascia with the front grille, air dam, and number plate now integrated into one design. It also gets a new design for its dual-tone alloy wheels. Similarly, on the inside, the 2021 Dzire comes with twin-pod meter cluster, and a new 4.2-inch multi-information coloured TFT display giving it a vibrant visual appeal. Complementing the interiors are the new modern wooden finish ornaments on the doors and instrument panels with a natural gloss finish. The new characteristic dual-tone seats enhance the overall cabin appeal. The new updated 7.0-inch Smartplay Studio touch infotainment system offers both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety features on the new 2021 Dzire include Electronic Stability Program (ESC) and Hill-Hold function in the AGS variant, dual airbags, pre-tensioner force limiter seat belts, large brakes, ISOFIX (child seat restraint system), and ABS with EBD. Built on the fifth-generation HEARTECT platform, the new 2021 Dzire complies with frontal-offset, side-impact, and pedestrian regulations.
