The BS6-compliant Mahindra Bolero is all-set to launch in the Indian market. Mahindra announced in July 2019 that the Power Plus version of the Bolero has become the first UV in India to be certified as BS6-compliant. The 2020 Mahindra Bolero has been spied undisguised revealing the design changes.
The new Bolero gets major styling changes at the front. It now gets a revised front grille and bumper, modified bonnet, and new headlamps with chrome inserts and black touches. There are also minor changes at the rear. The new Bolero also gets a new-age instrument cluster.
The updated Bolera gets a 1.5-litre three-cylinder D75 diesel engine, which produces a maximum power output of 71 horsepower and a maximum torque of 195 Nm. It comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. In terms of safety features, Mahindra will offer the new Bolero with a driver-side airbag, speed alert, front seatbelt reminder, rear parking sensors, and a manual override for the central locking system.
With the introduction of the BS6 engine, the price of the New Bolero is expected to go further up by INR 80,000.
