Revealed through regulatory filings, this next-generation MG4 is larger than its predecessor and showcases a completely fresh design.

The new MG4 has undergone extensive design changes, including a reworked front end, new doors, and a revised rear section. The styling appears to blend elements from the MG3, scaled up in size, with subtle influences from the MG Cyberster EV too.

In official images, the MG4 EV sports a light purple exterior with contrasting white pillars and a sleek roofline. The front fascia features sharp LED headlights and a dynamic bumper with a trapezoidal air intake. Its sculpted fenders enhance the car’s visual width, while the charging port is positioned on the left front fender.

At the rear, the MG4 EV features a roof-mounted spoiler with an integrated brake light, a rear wiper, and arrow-shaped taillights connected by an LED strip. The minimalist rear bumper further complements its modern aesthetics. Additionally, the model now incorporates an independent rear suspension, enhancing its ride dynamics.

In terms of dimensions, the new MG4 measures 4,395 mm in length, 1,842 mm in width, and 1,551 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. This makes it 108 mm longer and extends the wheelbase by 45 mm compared to its predecessor, which measured 4,287 mm in length and had a 2,705 mm wheelbase. These changes indicate that this is more than just a facelift—it's essentially an all-new model.
