As per our sources, Nissan Magnite will receive a price hike in the Nepalese market after a series of similar increments in the Indian market. Nissan has already increased the Magnite's prices in India thrice over the last few months. The Japanese carmaker has cited an increase in the prices of auto parts for the hike. Also, the price increment can be attributed to the shortage of semiconductor chips.Although Pioneer Motocorp did not immediately respond to Nepal Drives' request for comment, we can expect the price hike to be applicable in all variants of the Magnite subcompact SUV in Nepal. The
Magnite sub-compact SUV
was launched in Nepal at a starting price of Rs 29.49 Lakh in February. The sub-compact SUV is available in four trims - XE (Base), XL (Mid), XV (Upper), and the XV (Premium) in a total of 11 variants. The Magnite is available with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 71 BHP and 96 Nm and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit that makes 99 BHP and 160 Nm. Both engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. Here's a look at the current price list of the Nissan Magnite in Nepal:[table id=87 /]
