Nissan has launched the all-new fourth-generation X-Trail in Nepal in a commitment to a more sustainable future. The new Nissan X-Trail has been launched at Rs 1.87 crore.
What is Nissan e-POWER? The e-POWER system is comprised of a high-voltage battery and the powertrain, which is integrated with a high-power motor, inverter, gasoline engine, and generator. In conventional hybrid systems, the wheels are driven by an electric motor and a gasoline engine. However, in the e-POWER system, the wheels are driven by a high-output electric motor like an EV. Since the engine only generates electricity and the system is 100% driven by a high-output motor, it is possible to enjoy the driving experience of an EV.Powered by Nissan's e-4ORCE 4WD system, the Nissan X-Trail e-POWER boasts a performance output of 157 kW and 213 Nm of torque. With dimensions measuring 4680mm x 1840mm x 1725mm (LxWxH), a wheelbase of 2705mm, and an unladen ground clearance of 220mm, the vehicle combines power and size seamlessly. Convenience and safety features include a 3-zone auto air conditioning system, an 8" touchscreen display equipped with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, as well as a drive and terrain mode selector offering 5 modes.

Similarly, Raghunath Nair, Head of Exports CBU & South Asia Business, said: "Nissan's e-POWER technology has been incredibly well received by our customers globally, and we're excited to offer this efficient, EV-like drive experience in Nepal. We've always felt that e-POWER needs to be driven to be believed. With the all-new Xtrail e-4ORCE launch in Nepal, we are happy to give our customers of Nepal, an important market of South Asia, to do just that."
