Okaya Energy & E-Mobility Group Partners With Vriddhi-Shasheela To Bring Electric Two Wheelers, Charging Grid And Battery Swapping Stations Across Nepal

Okaya Energy & E-Mobility Group, formerly known as Okaya Power Group, has entered into a strategic partnership with Vriddhi-Shasheela Electric Pvt. Ltd. to introduce electric scooters in Nepal. Okaya is India’s no. 1 charging station manufacturer and the country's third largest battery manufacturer.

According to a release, this association will meet the ever-evolving requirement of the Nepalese customer base while addressing their demand for sustainable & emission-free transportation solutions.

Backed by a four-decade of expertise and presence in over 50 countries, OEEG's latest venture Okaya EV plans to introduce the Faast series of IOT Smart Scooters with the segment's first features and the most extended range offered by any other scooter in that segment.

The Okaya Faast offers the highest capacity battery fitted to any e-Scooter at 4.4 kWh offering an excellent range of 140-160 km to the charge and a top speed of 70 kmph. This will be followed by multiple launches in the latter half of the year.

The plans also include setting up a hyper-efficient battery swapping service across Nepal.
